The Lowell Riddler: July 2024 Solution

The Lowell Riddler is back and hiding medallions in and near the City of Lowell for residents to find. Those who find the medallion will be rewarded with Lowell Bucks and bragging rights! Special thanks to the Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce for sponsoring the competition this year by providing the prizes this year.

Here’s the winner and solution to the June 2024 riddle:

Congratulations to Dawn Gable and Angie Reedy of Lowell!

This is Dawn and Angie’s second win this season, which ties them with the Cindy, Bill and Isaac Smith family. If either of these groups find the August medallion, that group will be the Riddler of the Year. If someone else solves the August medallion, the Smith Family will be the Riddler of the Year since they currently have the fastest time solving a riddle — a very quick 2 hours and 2 minutes.

From the Winners:

We love to ride our e-bikes Saturday mornings to ride around town searching for the medallion. We searched many locations but kept coming back to the fairgrounds. We’ve searched the fairgrounds several times but really felt the line about hooked was the fishermen at the boat launch and the scrap metal collected here annually. We started looking around the yellow King Milling wheat sign with the arrow and then followed exactly where it pointed. It was a post! It had to be it, right? Easy to find on Facebook would be a post.
