It’s been a year of change for Canfield Plumbing & Heating. In January, Greg Canfield sold the business, ending his ownership of the company he founded 30 years ago.

Now, the new management has announced an expansion of services to include electrical work. This new venture not only enhances its ability to serve the community but also paves the way for further growth within the company. We sat down with Chris Burnside, general manager of Canfield Plumbing & Heating, to delve into the details.

“Expanding into electrical services was a natural evolution for us,” Burnside states with enthusiasm. “We’ve consistently received requests for electrical services from our plumbing and heating clients. By integrating electrical work into our repertoire, we can now offer a more convenient solution for our customers.”

Currently, Canfield Plumbing & Heating is focusing its efforts on residential electrical services. “That’s our niche for now,” Burnside reveals. At the moment, Canfield Plumbing & Heating boasts a talented journeyman electrician, Blake, who expertly manages 3-4 calls per day. The company has ambitious plans to introduce on-call and emergency services once their team expands, targeting a full rollout by the end of summer.

“We aim to bring 2-4 more skilled electricians on board by summer’s end,” Burnside shares. The company is on the lookout for adept professionals to join their growing team, with job applications available on the employment website Indeed or at their office.

A cornerstone of Canfield Plumbing & Heating’s ethos is fostering employee development. “We invest in our team by covering training costs and licensing exams,” Burnside highlights. This support system allows employees like Blake to progress, with Blake poised to achieve his master electrician status soon.

The company is unwavering in its commitment to delivering top-tier services, backed by a satisfaction guarantee, according to Burnside. “If there’s any issue with our craftsmanship, we’re dedicated to making it right or offering a money-back guarantee,” he asserts. This pledge ensures customers consistently receive reliable and exceptional service.

Burnside, who took the helm at Canfield Plumbing & Heating three months ago, brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles as a plant manager and army logistics officer. “This industry is new to me, and I’m excited to drive Canfield’s growth while supporting our customers,” he shares. “It’s incredibly fulfilling to serve the community directly and provide a trusted service.”

Booking an appointment with Canfield Plumbing & Heating is seamless. While appointments can be scheduled via phone, Google, or email, the preferred method is a phone call to ensure accurate troubleshooting before the visit.
