The Volunteer of the Month for February is our Reception Team Volunteers, Chris Koehler (back left), Jean Madill (front), and Karen Kayser (back right). These ladies are the first faces you see if you come into the FROM office between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. They each volunteer about 4 hours a week answering phones, directing those that comes into our lobby, and helping FROM staff with additional projects.
When asked their favorite part of volunteering they each talked about the culture at FROM. Chris says, “I love coming to FROM because everyone (staff and volunteers) is so helpful and it’s such a happy group of people to work with.” Jean stated, “my favorite part of the job is the staff, volunteers and clients. It’s a very friendly atmosphere, very respectful and kind. I am so impressed with how much FROM does in the community.” Karen said her favorite part is, “the people! I enjoy the people I work with and helping those who are coming in for services. Everyone here cares! You can sense God in this organization. Everyone should take the opportunity to volunteer at FROM because you get more than you give. The rewards for being here are priceless!
We are so thankful for our Reception team and all they do for FROM! Thank you ladies for making a positive and friendly first impression to all those you come in contact with!
