Furry Friday: Averie and BJ Hunnicutt

The following animals are available for adoption.  If you find an animal you’d like to adopt please contact the organization directly.  Lowell’s First Look does not assist with the adoption process.  And if you’re looking to add to your family and don’t see an animal below, each organization has additional animals looking for new homes.   Pet profiles and photos are provided by each organization.

PREFERS A HOME WITHOUT
Other animals.

A is for all the affection I have to give
V is for my vivacious nature
E is for easing into new friendships
R is for my refreshing outlook on life
I is for the incredible adventures we will have together
E is for my enthusiasm in everything I do!

I hear people-pleasing is supposed to be exhausting….but not for me! Being the young little lady that I am, my potential is as high as your dedication. It is very satisfying to utilize this beautiful brain I have, to make my friends (and my future family) happy. I won’t lie to you; I am still growing out of some “puppy habits” (mouthing when I am overly excited) but rest assured, positive redirection and consistency will make for a quick remedy.

Who needs a television when you could have me to keep you entertained! My enthusiasm is expressed in such a dorky way. I like to zoom around and try my best to impersonate a professional contortionist by folding over like a pretzel with my behind in the air! I am really excited to play with other dogs too, its a great way to let my antics out before we hunker down in bed for the night.

Don’t wait too long, if you like it….then you should put a collar on it. Take the first steps by submitting your adoption application online!

BJ Hunnicutt is an 11 pound, 2 month old Staffy Heinz 57 Mix with the cutest face and the most gorgeous colors. He loves to be held and snuggled, and he loves even more to pal around with his doggie roomies. He makes the cutest little piglet noises when he’s excited – it’s awesome. BJ is very smart and he loves to learn new things – he’s especially curious about photosynthesis. He would love to go to Puppy Classes with his forever humans. BJ is crate trained, and he is doing a fantastic job with his house training; and he does very well with cats, dogs and humans of all ages but would be just fine as only pet, too!! BJ is neutered, up to date on shots, and his adoption fee is $300. To adopt this precious soul apply at www.rescueofhope.com/adoption-application
