The following animals are available for adoption.  If you find an animal you’d like to adopt please contact the organization directly.  Lowell’s First Look does not assist with the adoption process.  And if you’re looking to add to your family and don’t see an animal below, each organization has additional animals looking for new homes.   Pet profiles and photos are provided by each organization.

I am beauty and brains in one perfect package – and I’m on the lookout for a home where I can truly thrive! I’m an energetic, intelligent dog with a playful spirit and a heart full of sweetness….with an added bonus for your entertainment: I’ve perfected the all-too-cute head tilt, complete with my adorably quirky ears! Even though I’ve had my share of challenges (I was hit by a car and required surgical pins in both of my back legs), these experiences have only strengthened my resilience and desire for a stable and loving family. I am both house trained and crate trained, making me well-prepared to integrate into your home.

I excel with a consistent routine, including scenic outdoor excursions, training, and plenty of playtime! I’ve really shown off my intelligence in leash and manners training, and I’m especially alert and responsive when there are snacks involved. While I have lived with other dogs and older children before, I’m quite dominant with other dogs and a bit too boisterous for small children. However, teenage kids are the perfect fetch partners for me!

I may be a bit apprehensive at first, but I am a loyal companion who will reward your patience with genuine affection. If you’re seeking a dynamic, engaging, and sweet partner to share your life with, submit an adoption application at the MAS website!

Debbie is a Chihuahua Puppy with possibly the cutest face in the history of faces. The only thing cuter than Debbie’s mischievous, adorable, every day face, is her face just after waking up. It’s a level of cuteness equal to Ed Sheeran and Selena Gomez riding tandem unicycles on the beach. Debbie loves playing, with her doggie siblings, and she’s always ready for cuddles. She is a good natured, curious, lovable creature. We adore her. Debbie is working hard on her crate training and house training, and she does well with cats, dogs and humans of all ages. Debbie is up to date on shots and will be spayed. Her adoption fee is $350. To adopt Debbie apply online.

GOOD IN A HOME WITH
Other cats, children

Jetta, just a kitten herself, was found nursing her own litter of kittens. Everyone is now safe inside, happy to be rid of living on the streets.

Meet Jetta, an adorable black kitten with a heart full of love! This little feline is as sweet as they come, with a quiet demeanor that will melt your heart. Jetta enjoys the simple pleasures in life—especially being pet. She thrives on gentle affection and will happily purr away as you stroke her soft fur.

Though Jetta might be a bit reserved at first, she quickly warms up to kind souls who show her patience and love. She gets along well with her fellow feline roommates, making her a great addition to a multi-cat household. If you’re looking for a gentle and loving companion who enjoys a peaceful environment, Jetta might just be the perfect fit for you.

You can meet Jetta at Chow Hound located at 6787 Cascade Rd., SE.

Jetta has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $95. Jetta has an approximate birthdate of July, 2023.

Apply to adopt Jetta here.

If you are interested in any of the cats at Second Chance Cats of West Michigan, go to sccatswm.org/adopt to fill out an application, or stop in during open hours on Fridays from 11-2 or Saturdays and Sundays from 11-4.
