Furry Friday: Betty Boop and Bianca

The following animals are available for adoption.  If you find an animal you’d like to adopt please contact the organization directly.  Lowell’s First Look does not assist with the adoption process.  And if you’re looking to add to your family and don’t see an animal below, each organization has additional animals looking for new homes.   Pet profiles and photos are provided by each organization.

Introducing our newest resident sweetheart, Betty Boop! This petite princess stole our hearts the moment she arrived. At 40 lbs, Betty embodies the perfect blend of sweetness and gentle nature in a manageable and travel-size package.

Being a Catahoula hound mix, Miss Boop is blessed with a unique and aesthetically pleasing look, from her bold coat pattern to her flappy hound ears and the single blue twinkle in her eye, she is sure to turn more than a few heads. However, Betty’s beauty is more than fur deep. While she may be a bit shy at first, watch her uncertainty dissipate with the toss of her favorite toys, appealing to her spunky-fun (yet totally gentle) playful side. Squeaky plushies and tennis balls are the key to unlocking the contagious happiness she reserves to shower her trusted human friends.

Growing her loyalty is as simple as tickling her taste buds with a tasty treat. Indulging in snack samples is definitely her love language, which comes in handy for those fine-tune-ups in training, or just to brush up and bond over the tried and true tricks she already knows! Either way, Betty Boop is happy to oblige.

If you’re ready to ‘Boop-Oop-a-Doop’ (or ‘Boof-Oof-a-Woof’) with your very own iconic flappy girl, submit your adoption application at the MAS website. Be sure to mention Betty’s name to open your heart and home to this sweet soul.

We know it’s early in the year, but Bianca is already front runner for Best Ears 2024. This girl is ready for her forever family and looking to make this her best year yet. She takes a minute (like an actual minute) to warm up to new people and she loves playing with dogs where she gets to be the boss lady. She’s a young adult who weighs around 50 pounds and wishes she was sleeping on your couch right now! You can apply online to adopt or foster her.
