Love is in the air, and so is Bliss!

This little darling came to MAS on Valentine’s Day with her mom and 7 siblings. They are all on the hunt for their forever homes, and they come packed with love, joy, and endless puppy kisses! Bliss may be just a tiny bundle of fur right now, but her heart is as big as her dreams of finding the perfect family to call her own!

While we can’t predict their exact size when they’re fully grown, we can tell you that mom tips the scales at around 50lbs, so she may follow in her paw prints! All these playful pups are in full-blown puppy mode, ready to chase balls, play tug-of-war, and embark on adventures with their new best friends (before a well-deserved nap and cuddle session)! Being so young, they would be happy to be a part of any home with other dogs, cats, and kids – all fun playmates and excellent role models!

Now is the prime time to work on her training and social skills, ensuring she grows up to be a well-behaved, perfect little lady. With a little patience, consistency, and a whole lot of love, Bliss is sure to blossom into the most wonderful companion.

If you’re ready to open your heart and home to one of these precious babes, visit the MAS website and submit your application today! They can’t wait to wiggle their way into your life and fill your days with laughter, love, and puppy cuddles galore! Adopt Bliss and embark on a journey of unconditional love and lifelong companionship.

Meet bonded pair, Cici (gray & white Shih Tzu) and Frida (black & white Shih Tzu/Chihuahua mix) who are a mother and daughter duo, and a package deal. They haven’t experienced a whole lot of the world previously, but they know that they love each other greatly and do everything together.

Cici is a senior (estimated 10yrs) but she is spry and inquisitive, likes to explore and loves attention but isn’t super needy for it. Frida (estimated 5yrs) is very reliant on her mom and needs her to be brave. It will take a very patient adoptive family who will allow her to get comfortable and open up over time as she gets more comfortable. Right now she is more of a quiet observer than a participant in interacting with people. They are looking for a quiet, low traffic home, respectful teenaged kids ok.

These girls are homebodies and don’t need a whole lot more than a comfy couch and a fenced-in yard where they can sunbathe the day away. Their energy level is low/medium, they play with each other in spurts, but are otherwise content just to hang out. They don’t seem to mind other calm, respectful dogs of all sizes but would prefer a cat-free home. Cici loves to snuggle and be pet, and with time, Frida likely will be too as she is timidly seeking out affection in small doses currently in her foster home. They are both potty pad trained, and do well in a playpen enclosure together when their foster family is out of the house. Both girls are spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives, and their adoption fee is $350.

Submit your application here.

GOOD IN A HOME WITH
Other cats, Children

Meet Larson, the purrfect senior gentleman! This sweet and loving boy is living his golden years like a true king. Larson adores being pampered with pets and brushes, and his purrs are simply music to the ears. At his seasoned age, Larson proves that age is just a number.

Despite his age, Larson has no problem jumping and prancing around with grace. Age doesn’t stop this charming senior cat!

Larson has refined taste buds and can be a bit picky about his meals, but when he finds something he loves, he enjoys every bite. It’s all about quality over quantity for this sophisticated furball.

This dapper senior is on a couple of medications, but that doesn’t stop him from living his best life. Larson is committed to staying in tip-top shape, and he’s got the routine down pat.

Larson would do great in a quiet home with someone who enjoys the soft, gentle demeaner of a senior cat.

Larson is currently in foster, but if you are interested in him please fill out an application and we can set up an appointment to meet him.

Larson has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. His adoption fee is $95. Larson is about 12 years old.

Apply to adopt Larson here.

If you are interested in any of the cats at Second Chance Cats of West Michigan, go to sccatswm.org/adopt to fill out an application, or stop in during open hours on Fridays from 11-2 or Saturdays and Sundays from 11-4.
