Love is in the air, and so is Dove!

This little darling came to MAS on Valentine’s Day with her mom and 7 siblings. They are all on the hunt for their forever homes, and they come packed with love, joy, and endless puppy kisses! Dove may be just a tiny bundle of fur right now, but her heart is as big as her dreams of finding the perfect family to call her own!

While we can’t predict their exact size when they’re fully grown, we can tell you that mom tips the scales at around 50lbs, so she may follow in her paw prints! All these playful pups are in full-blown puppy mode, ready to chase balls, play tug-of-war, and embark on adventures with their new best friends (before a well-deserved nap and cuddle session)! Being so young, they would be happy to be a part of any home with other dogs, cats, and kids – all fun playmates and excellent role models!

Now is the prime time to work on her training and social skills, ensuring she grows up to be a well-behaved, perfect little lady. With a little patience, consistency, and a whole lot of love, Dove is sure to blossom into the most wonderful companion.

If you’re ready to open your heart and home to one of these precious babes, visit the MAS website and submit your application today! They can’t wait to wiggle their way into your life and fill your days with laughter, love, and puppy cuddles galore! Adopt Dove and embark on a journey of unconditional love and lifelong companionship.

GOOD IN A HOME WITH
Other cats, children

Lexi and Noelle are a mother/daughter duo who are bonded and must be adopted together. They are apprehensive at the center, but once they get into their forever home their personalities will bloom.

Lexi is two year-old tortoise shell cat who made her way to Second Chance Cats after being rescued by a community caregiver. She was living in a feral encampment with her three kittens, barely able to provide milk to nourish them. She was underweight, wary of humans but gradually began trusting the caregiver. As a result, after a few months of interaction, the caregiver was able to catch Lexi and her three kittens (Angel, Noelle and Mia) and take her inside. Lexi and her kittens have come a long way in a few months—they are far more trusting of humans, have gained weight and enjoy being inside where is it warm and dry. Lexi loved to lay on her caregiver’s lap, and enjoys being petted. Bonded to her human caregivers, the once fearful, apprehensive, malnourished, kitty is now very healthy and happy. Lexi has had a few seizures in the past, so potential adopters should know what to look for.

Noelle is a thirteen-month-old tortoise shell cat who made her way to Second Chance Cats after being rescued by a community caregiver. Previously, she was living in a feral encampment with her mother and siblings, who was barely able to provide milk to nourish them. She was underweight, wary of humans but has gradually begun to trust her caregivers. After a few months of interaction, the caregiver was able to catch Noelle, her mother and siblings and take them inside. Noelle is quite shy but enjoys being petted and played with. She loves her Temptations treats! If you are patient and gentle, Noelle will come to trust you and will sit next to you. If you are looking for a sweet and gentle girl, then Noelle is your cat.

Lexi and Noelle are very reserved girls who need an experienced adopter that understand these two will need extra time to acclimate and adjust to their new home.

Both girls have been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Their adoption fee is $190.

Apply to adopt Lexi and Noelle here.

If you are interested in any of the cats at Second Chance Cats of West Michigan, go to sccatswm.org/adopt to fill out an application, or stop in during open hours on Fridays from 11-2 or Saturdays and Sundays from 11-4.
