Introducing the loveable pooch that defines “puppy-dog eyes”: the charming, one-and-only, Mashed Potatoes!

If you’re seeking a companion who brings a mix of charm, excitement, and snoozey snuggles…Mashed Potatoes might just be the perfect addition to your family! Age is just a number if you ask Taters, at 10 years young, he has mastered the art of spunk and charisma living life to the fullest! Taters is passionate about playful activities, like chasing after a ball or going for engaging walks. And he isn’t shy about letting you know when he is ready to go! While his enthusiasm might lead him to pull quite a bit on the leash, it’s a small price to pay for the joy of witnessing his zest for life.

Being on a special diet hasn’t dampened his spirits, Taters is always ready to melt your heart with those soulful eyes in exchange for a tasty tidbit! Taters is just about as versatile as they come; in the past, he harmoniously lived with other dogs, kids, and cats (although he may try to chase any new feline housemates until he gets to know them better). His adoration for head, ear, and chest rubs is undeniable, making him the perfect confidant to curl up with for a well-deserved nap. His comfort extends to crate time when he’s home alone, showcasing his well-behaved and considerate nature. His fun yet calm demeanor makes him an ideal addition to households of all shapes and sizes!

Taters’ heart might have a bit of a murmur, but his affectionate nature knows no bounds. Taters is a true testament to resilience and the power of love. He is patiently waiting to fill your home with love, laughter, and the unmistakable sweetness that only a senior dog like him, can provide. Submit your adoption application at the MAS website and be sure to mention his name!

Meet Mara, a 14 year old 15-pound chocolate brown chihuahua with a little bit of vanilla sprinkles who is looking for her retirement home! Mara appreciates the finer things in life like cushy beds and soft blankets. She definitely is a little shadow to her chosen person, and just likes to be in the same space to hang out, moving from soft spot to soft spot. Her personality type is shy, but kind and isn’t much of a barker but has been known to howl if she has something important to say and squeaks for attention! Mara accepts coexisting with other low-energy calm dogs who don’t get up in her face, but would also do just fine as being an only dog! She has done well with cats in foster. Mara would love a calmer household with someone home more often than not, and doesn’t ask for much aside from a buddy to just hang out with. She is very able-bodied; does stairs just fine and walks on a leash but would prefer to take her walks in warmer weather! Mara is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and preventatives, and her adoption fee is $175. Adopt her today!
