“Which side are you?” -TWIX
Well, if you are looking for a right-hand pooch… say no more! Being right by your side is my favorite place to be! Also, one of my favorite tricks that I like is to “sit” and “shake ” with my right paw of course. Though if you prefer the left side, that’s my good ear, you know the one that stands up tall and alert. All the better to hear you when you are having a rough day and need to vent. We can curl up together and you can tell me all about your day and rub my belly. I might try to crawl in your lap and gaze at you (with the sweetest puppy dog eyes I can muster) to make everything all better for you. I will always have your back, so long as you promise to have mine. Because some new things make me a little nervous sometimes. I am quite a young pup after all, so continuing socializing me will be a huge benefit for our future. Having a best friend to be able to count on when I am a little unsure really puts me at ease.
Before I came to MAS, I had a DNA test done showing that I am 50% Catahoula Leopard Dog, 25% Dutch Shepard, and 25% Belgian Malinois. Now, all these breeds are herding types; so I will be best in a home with older children. Having a canine playmate to go home with would be a great energy outlet….or even an occasional playdate would be something for me to look forward to! I am perfectly happy to be the center of my bestie’s attention too though. While I do enjoy canine company, I have decided that cats are bad news and should not go home with any of those pesky creatures.
Right or left, both sides of me are pretty darn good if you ask me. “Need a moment” to decide? Submit your adoption application to spend some time to “chew it over with Twix”

This kind hearted gentleman with the most gorgeous brown eyes is Truman. He is such a special soul, we just adore him. Truman is a 60 pound, 8 year old Staffy Heinz 57 Mix with a laid back presence and a very happy-go-lucky personality. He is one of the most lovable pups we have met in a long time. He brings so much love and laughter to his foster home. Also, he loves cream cheese. Truman does very well with other dogs; he would do best in a home without very small children due to his size. Truman will be neutered, and he’s up to date on shots. His adoption fee is $175. To adopt Truman apply at www.rescueofhope.com/adoption-application.
