Lowell Business Brew Hosts Local Evening Event

Lowell, Michigan – April 3, 2019 – Lowell area businesses and local entrepreneurs are invited to the first Lowell Business Brew Evening Event on Tuesday, April 9th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Big Boiler Brewing. “Almost every month, when we publicize our event, someone responds that they are unable to come during the day,” said local business writer, Jeanne Noorman. “So, we’re going to give occasional evening events a try.”

Business Brew will be providing free appetizers during the event, and happy hour drink prices will be in effect. In addition to eating, drinking, and networking with other local businesses in a fun and relaxing atmosphere, participants will learn about Lowell Business Brew’s mission and get to know its founders Brianna Furlong and Jeanne Noorman. Attendees who pre-register on the Lowell Business Brew website will have the opportunity to win a $25 gift certificate to Big Boiler Brewing.

Lowell Business Brew began meeting in May of 2018 to support the marketing and communication efforts of local businesses and entrepreneurs in the Lowell area. “Running a business is difficult, especially when you’re a team of one,” says Brianna Furlong who runs Management Support Services. “It’s been very exciting to partner with other local businesses and the Chamber to really support the community in a way that wasn’t possible before. This is a great way to give back to the Lowell area.”

“The consultants have lots of great marketing & promotional ideas, listen and respond to your unique needs and provide honest feedback. They have the “tech savvy” we don’t!!” says regular attendee Mary Ann Yaeger from the Friends of the Englehardt Library.

“The world of digital marketing is growing by leaps and bounds, and a lot of it can be done for free. Our goal is to help you figure it all out,” says Noorman, a 30+ year veteran in the field of marketing, communications, and public relations, about why she and partner Brianna Furlong began the monthly event. “Because when Lowell businesses and organizations succeed, we all succeed.”

A list of upcoming topics and events can be found on the Lowell Business Brew website as well as the organization’s Facebook page.

Lowell Business Brew is a free monthly marketing and communications event. It meets at Big Boiler Brewing on the 4th Wednesday of each month at 8:00 am. Organized by local business owners Jeanne Noorman and Brianna Furlong, the business collaborative provides marketing and communications support and education to local businesses and organizations. Lowell Business Brew partners include the Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce, Big Boiler Brewing, Sweet Seasons Bakery & Café, and Kim Feenstra Photography.
