The Lowell Riddler: Clue #2 for April 2024

The Lowell Riddler is back and hiding medallions in and near the City of Lowell for residents to find. Those who find the medallion will be rewarded with Lowell Bucks and bragging rights! All rules are listed below. Special thanks to the Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce for sponsoring the competition this year.

Clue #1

How two brothers escape
On vinyl as well as on tape.
A slapstick routine
Most of it mean.
A bank in pretty good shape.

 

Clue #2

A stern professor or Dean.
A friend to Muhammad Ali.
‘Round cattail bend,
All the way to the end.
Everything Jake as can be.

Here’s what you’re looking for:

The medallion search-area includes the City of Lowell and nearby township locations that are linked to the city by sidewalk or trail. (See additional Riddling Rules below.)

The 2024 Riddler of the Year Contest

The 2024 Riddler of the Year will go to the person or group who solves the most riddles this year.

In case of a tie, the player with the fastest solve will be declared Riddler of the Year.

Riddling Instructions:

The medallion search-area includes the City of Lowell and nearby township locations linked to the city by sidewalk or trail.

When You Find the Medallion: Immediately, take a selfie while holding the medallion in the location that you found it. Then email the selfie, your name, the location you found it, along with your mailing address and phone number to [email protected]. Your Lowell Bucks prize will be mailed to you and your selfie will be published on the Lowell’s First Look web page. The medallion is yours to keep as a memory of riddling expertise.

Always Remember: Hidden medallions are accessible 24 hours a day. They will always be hidden in the City of Lowell and nearby township locations linked to the city by sidewalk or trail. They will never be on private property. They will never be in the cemetery. They will never be buried in the ground. You may have to move grass or leaves or remove a covering of colored tape to see the medallion. The hidden medallions will always be reachable by an adult. Medallions could be hanging on a string or rubber band or attached by a magnet.

Your participation in this activity is purely voluntary. Please respect slippery conditions and crossing busy streets. Most of all, have fun solving the riddle.

Once a riddle has been solved we will update this article, the graphic at the top of our website, and the Facebook post where we shared the article to indicate that the current riddle has been solved. This will be done as soon as we’re able after hearing from The Riddler.
