We received the following information from LowellArts and the Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce regarding this year’s Summer Concerts line-up.
20th Anniversary for Free, Outdoor Concerts on Riverwalk Plaza in Downtown Lowell
LOWELL, MI, February 22, 2022 |This year marks the 20th Anniversary of the Lowell Showboat Sizzlin’ Summer Concerts presented by LowellArts and Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce. The concert series began in 2001 and was one of the first free outdoor concert series offered in West Michigan. These Lowell concerts are offered with the Lowell Showboat as a backdrop, commemorating the history of the Showboat for the City of Lowell. To celebrate the 20th Anniversary, this year’s concerts feature many groups who originated in Michigan and are now headlining nationally and internationally.
The concert series runs June 16 to August 25, 2022. Thursday evening concerts begin at 7:00pm along the Flat River, 113 Riverwalk Plaza, in downtown Lowell, MI.

Food and spirits are available for purchase. Admission to the concerts and parking are free. The concerts draw upwards of 1,000 visitors each week. The concert venue is wheelchair accessible. Bleacher seating is available or attendees can bring their own folding chair.
