LowellArts: Needle Felted Bunny Class

$40In this class, we will be needle felting a little bunny, as well as a carrot or other veggies. Beginners are welcome, as well as those with previous experience. Class instruction covers the needle felting process, proper needle use and safety, how to create a sculptural core and attach felt pieces, as well as adding exterior wool and details. These little bunnies that fit in the palm of your hand are so fun to make, and by the end of the class, you will have one finished to take home.
Instructor: Samantha Coon
Ages: 10 to Adult
Materials Needed: All materials provided.
Class Fee: $40 ($36 for LowellArts Members). Fee includes materials.
Samantha Coon is a self-taught artist, working in both wet and needle felting. She was introduced to felting in 2009 while living in mid-coast Maine. She has taught classes to both children and adults that include projects using resists, both sculptural and wearable, surface design techniques, working with pre-felts, and introductory needle felting.
