Mackenzie’s Animal Sanctuary

Those involved with Mackenzie’s Animal Sanctuary take pride in finding the right home for dogs in their care. Here are their pets of the week.

I’m Daisy! I’m a four year old basset hound/beagle mix. I’m a sweet and spunky lady that’s quickly winning over every I meet here at Mackenzie’s!

Toys are probably my favorite thing in the entire world! The ones that squeak are the best. I’m happy to pick them up and play with them myself, but I’m also happy to play a little fetch! I’ve met some dogs and kids and done well with them too.

I’m still pretty new to Mackenzie’s, so as the staff gets to know me better, they’ll update my information a bit more. In the meantime, fill out an application and mention me!

Mika is such a beautiful girl, with beautiful chestnut colored eyes. She is a fast learner, and is working on commands, markers, and lead training. . She loves to go on walks, but is working on her lead training to not pull as much when with her family. She would make a great companion for running, and hiking. She loves kids and other dogs. She really needs an active family, that loves to camp and spend time outdoors. Her D.O.B. is 8/26/16. Lot’s of puppy energy in her. She is learning to find a nice balance.

Hearts of Hope Dog Rescue

Hearts of Hope Dog Rescue look to find dogs and sometimes cats in their care forever homes with the help of foster homes.  Here are their pets of the week.

Cooper is a 4 year old, 55 pound Lab/Hound Mix who knows several commands and loves to tell his people about it !! He is incredibly smart and curious, and he loves to explore. He will need a home with a privacy fence to keep his exploratory shenanigans limited to his own yard. Cooper is crate trained and house trained, and he is always ready for an adventure. He’s just a big ball of happy awesomeness, we adore him !! Cooper loves dogs of all ages and sizes and humans of all ages and sizes. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots. His adoption fee is $200. To adopt Cooper apply at www.rescueofhope.com/adoption-application

Hi! My name is Bonnie and I am a 4-5 year old Husky/Shepherd mix.  I am a good girl but I am a husky so I do have a lot of energy! I would love a mom or dad who will take me on a lot of walks or even run with me. My foster mom says I am great on the leash!  I’m house trained and crate trained.  I know how to sit and shake!  I will follow you everywhere because I want to be near my people. I love other dogs and all size people. Even though I am good with kids, I’m big so I might knock younger munchkins down because I’m excited to play.  I will be up to date on vaccinations and spayed before my adoption.  My adoption fee is only $200.00. Apply for me at www.rescueofhope.com.
