Our sweet Carr is a snuggly and lovable soul whom we just adore. He has kind, soulful brown eyes, and the most squeezable, kissable face. This special boy is missing a leg; he doesn’t let it slow him down any, and he loves playing with his doggie roomies !! Carr is a 45 pound, 2 year old Staffy Mix with unique brown and white markings. He can be a touch shy around new people, but he warms up very quickly. Carr is house trained and crate trained, and he does well with cats, dogs and humans of all ages !! He would love to go to Puppy Classes with his forever humans. Carr is neutered and up to date on shots. His adoption fee is $250. To adopt Carr apply online today.

Second Chance Cats is a 501(c)3 non-profit with a mission to help cats at municipal shelters who are at risk for euthanasia or were deemed unadoptable because of behavioral or medical issues. The group also works with other private rescues that are overcrowded and helps rehome cats that have been assessed as friendly when going through the trap-neuter-return process. Many of you followed and supported Pretzel through his fight with FIP and the 84 days of injections followed by 84 days of observation. FIP has been a death sentence and support from all of you allowed us to save his life! He is getting restless and it’s time to get him out of foster and adopted into his very own forever home. Pretzel is also FIV+ but can live with cats who do not have FIV. Cats who are FIV+ live just as long and healthy lives as non-FIV+ cats.
Pretzel is a wonderful, very dog like cat who follows his foster mom around. Pretzel comes with his precious, but very shy girlfriend, Minnie who was brought in with her litter of kittens to SCCWM. Minnie is a hesitant girl, and when she isn’t with Pretzel she’s usually hiding from the other many cats in her foster home. Pretzel and Minnie need a home without other cats. Respectful children are ok. They are fine with dogs that are not intrusive. Pretzel and Minnie will need to be the only two cats in the household.
Help us find Pretzel and Minnie their forever home! Pretzel is now healthy and happy, he just desperately needs his own space.
