Press Release: McDonald’s Remodel Complete, Will Hold Ribbon Cutting on Friday

We received the following information and photos from Ken Berg of McDonald’s.  After a remodeling project, the restaurant is back open in full capacity for customers.

The newly remodeled McDonald’s in Lowell opened their lobby today with excitement on showcasing a new lobby, playland, and new exterior.  More space was made in the lobby, kitchen area, and backroom cooler and freezer space.  Over the years Lowell has grown and owner operator Ken Berg shared the news that it was time for McDonald’s to grow as well.  The new investment also included ordering kiosks, new kitchen equipment, new roof, as well as additional seating in the lobby.

With the new restaurant, McDonald’s plans on hiring an additional twenty employees from entry level to management.  These jobs come with many benefits such as flexible schedules, health and dental insurance, competitive pay and benefits, opportunities for growth, $2500 a year for college tuition assistance, and free food.

In 2019, over $85,000 was given out in tuition assistance to his employees of the four McDonald’s that he owns.  “Our community has supported our family business for years and have truly welcomed our family.  Lowell is a great town and our goal was to have one of the newest and nicest looking McDonald’s in the state.” says Berg.

On Friday December 13th there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 am.
