Define Yorki (noun): A tiny tornado of fur and sass, known for the ability to turn a boring day into a charismatic adventure. Often mistaken for a walking ball of floof on a mission to steal hearts, treats, and unsuspecting squeaky toys! Approach with caution, as the Yorki possess the uncanny ability to melt even the stoic of hearts with adorable antics.
Warning: may cause uncontrollable giggling and an irresistible urge to boop their tiny noses.
Yep, that sounds about right! I’m a pint-sized pup with a story that’s almost too shocking to believe! It all started a few months ago when I was diagnosed with a rare condition called Bilateral Legg-Calve-Perthes, which is a fancy term for a glitch in my hips leaving me feeling like a floppy noodle trying to strut my stuff. A walk in the park – was not a walk in the park, but I faced my challenge head-on and emerged from corrective surgery with a spirited swagger, and a little hitch in my giddy up!
Yeah, it’s a bit of a plot twist, but I’ve still got spunk! I might be small, but my energy levels give life to every party! In my mind, I am as big as a Great Dane, and I’m always up for a game of chase the tickle fingers or getting real enthusiastic with my zoomies! Small companions are a welcomed energy outlet too; in fact, I used to live with other dogs and cats. I have been told that I am a bit irrational with larger dogs when I walk by. But like I said, I am basically the biggest dog on the block.
However, when it’s time to curl up and cuddle, it’s a good thing I am actually only 5lbs! I am the master of claiming laps as my throne. It truly doesn’t matter to me, Mom’s lap, Dad’s lap, little Timmy’s lap from down the road – I am well aware that every lap is fit for a prince such as myself!
If you’re looking for a travel-sized pup with a big personality and a heart as big as the moon, look no further! With me by your side, every day will feel like a royal celebration full of sweet puppy kisses! Submit your application at the MAS website!

Kira is an 11 pound, 3 month old Shepherd Mix Puppy with gorgeous black and tan markings and the most adorable little face !! Kira loves everyone and everything – except Algebra (gives her headaches). Our little Kira is very smart and loves learning new things; she would love to go to Puppy Classes with her forever humans to keep learning all the best things. Her foster humans have nicknamed her Chomper, because she occasionally chomps the air. Precious. Kira is doing a fantastic job with her house training and crate training, and she does very well with cats, dogs and humans of all ages. Lil’ Chomper is spayed and up to date on shots. Her adoption fee is $300. To adopt her apply online.
