Furry Friday

The following animals are available for adoption.  If you find an animal you’d like to adopt please contact the organization directly.  Lowell’s First Look does not assist with the adoption process.  And if you’re looking to add to your family and don’t see an animal below, each organization has additional animals looking for new homes.   Pet profiles and photos are provided by each organization.

Mackenzie’s Animal Sanctuary

Those involved with Mackenzie’s Animal Sanctuary take pride in finding the right home for dogs in their care. Here are their pets of the week.

Are you looking for a tall, dark, and handsome companion? How about a smart, devoted, and active playmate? Well, that’s me! I’m Lincoln.

I have the biggest smile and I love to show it off! I love to play and run; I think you would be impressed with how fast I am. I do prefer all your cuddles and attention to myself, so I need a home without other dogs or cats. Older kids are better equipped to handle my excitement and zest for life. I love long walks, preferably on a more remote trail. So, strap on your hiking boots and let’s go on an adventure together!

If I sound like the dog for you, please fill out an application today!

Lincoln 1

Hello, my name is Lennox and everyone at MAS is always complimenting me on how sweet I am. I enjoy being with people and getting love and cuddles from my human friends, and going for walks. Positive reinforcement and patience would really help me build some confidence and help me blossom into the ultimate best friend. A home that is a little more quiet would be appreciated, young kids with loud energy is a bit too much for me. I did well for my cat introduction at MAS, but I prefer to be the only dog.

“He’ll make you smile, he’ll make you fall in love, all he needs is a chance.”

To give Lennox a chance, submit an adoption application at www.mackenzies.info

Hearts of Hope Dog Rescue

Hearts of Hope Dog Rescue looks to find dogs and sometimes cats in their care forever homes with the help of foster homes.  Here are their pets of the week.

Domino is 28 pounds of ridiculously cute and sassy Basset Hound Mix !! Affectionately nicknamed Bugsy, Domino is a very loving and energetic ball of cute fun. He is always ready for an adventure, and absolutely loves being with his humans. He is house trained, but he prefers to have free range of the home. Domino loves to run; he will do best in an active home with a fenced in yard. And he would especially love a forever family that is home most of the day. He does very well with other dogs and humans of all ages with proper introductions. His adoption fee is $250. Domino is neutered, microchipped and up to date on shots. To adopt Domino apply at www.rescueofhope.com/adoption-application

Zack Morris is a 9 week old puppy who currently weighs just under 7 pounds and will likely be a medium dog. What breed is he? Well that is an excellent question. We have no idea. None. Zip. Zero. Zack is a fluffy guy, both because his fur is fluffy and because this guy likes to eat. He loves to play with toys, lay in the grass, crawl under all the things, and eat. He sleeps through the night and keeps his crate clean. He’s still working on potty training (like any little guy his age) but he seems to be catching on! Zack is current on his vaccines and will be microchipped and neutered before heading to his forever home. His adoption fee is $300 and you can apply to adopt him at www.rescueofhope.com/adopt/
