Mackenzie’s Animal Sanctuary

Those involved with Mackenzie’s Animal Sanctuary take pride in finding the right home for dogs in their care. Here are their pets of the week.

Meet Lily! Lily is a super sweet hound mix puppy, born 2/21/19. Lily is an absolute sweetheart! Even though she’s young, she’s a typical hound in that she loves to follow her nose! After exploring her surroundings and getting in some exercise, she’s happy to be a lapdog…for a little while, anyway! Once she’s taken a nap, she’s ready to go again! Since Lily is still a young puppy, she is looking for a home that can teach her commands and manners, and introduce her to new things.

If you’re interested in adopting Lily, please go to www.mackenzies.info and read about our adoption criteria. Our adoption survey and application is on our website as well.

Carol’s Ferals

Carol’s Ferals specializes in trap, neuter, return (TNR), but they come across “friendlies” who are available for adoption. Here are their pets of the week.

Hi, I’m Camry. If you’re looking for a cat that loves to be held and pet, then I am the guy for you! I am SUPER friendly and will wrap my arms around you if you hold me.

Hi I’m Coraline, I came to Carol’s Ferals in May of 2018. I am about 1½ year old. Because I was very scared, I spent some time in a foster home. I am now a happy cat who loves people and other cats. I am looking for a quiet home with maybe a cat friend. I’m living with a lot of cats right now. Come and see if I might be the cat you are looking for.

Hi, my name is Corbet, I am about 2 years old. I’ve been at Carol’s Ferals since April.  I’m a solid cat who is looking for a furever home.

Hearts of Hope Dog Rescue

Hearts of Hope Dog Rescue look to find dogs and sometimes cats in their care forever homes with the help of foster homes.  Here are their pets of the week.

Murphy is a 15 pound, 13 year old Schnauzer with Bette Midler’s hair and Antonio Banderas’s voice. He is very smart and loves to go for walks. He walks a half mile every day but has enough pep in his step to do even more ! Murphy is incredibly sweet and so easy to love. He loves cats, dogs, and humans of all ages. He lives for the special cuddle moments with his favorite people. Please consider this sweet boy, he deserves so much love. Murphy is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots. His adoption fee is $150. To adopt Murphy email [email protected] for an adoption application.

Hi! My name is Moca, I’m around 2 years old, and am so sort of whippet mix. I currently live with my foster family and they have nothing but good things to say about me. I’m house broken, quiet in my kennel, I know how to sit, I get along with cats and dogs, and I’m working on improving how I walk on a leash. My foster family says I pull, I just tell them that they don’t walk fast enough. I’m good with respectful adults and children, sometimes new people scare me, but I’m quick to warm up to them if they give me a bit of time. I’d really like a house that allows me to play, cuddle and continue to grow my confidence. I am spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $200. To apply for Moca email [email protected] for an adoption application.
