Hi, my name is Indie Jr, I am one of the adorable pups at MAS. Me and my adorable littermates are eager to begin life as someone’s lovable companion!
Full disclosure, I am just getting into full on sweet puppy mode! Ready to play, learn, and nap with you. When I grow up, I will be a medium size dog (my mom is a Beagle mix and weighs about 30lbs…I never met my dad, so my future size is based on just my mom).
I am looking for a family that has the patience to teach, guide, and socialize my puppy sponge brain in a positive way, so that I can grow from a sweet energized pup into a well-rounded adult dog…there is no limit on my potential!

Meet Bixby, a 30lb 1 year old Shepherd mix who might be slight in stature but what he lacks in size he makes up for with his big, silly personality! He keeps his foster family laughing with his weirdness. His preferred method of getting on his people’s laps is to sneak up on the back of the couch and then “slyly” slide down into the open lap like a snake! He’s always ready to play and would love an active family, maybe even another energetic dog to keep him company! When he’s done playing for the day, there’s nothing Bixby wants more than some snuggle time. He loves being held and cuddled like a baby! He’s the best of both worlds, both super playful and super snuggly. Also, he’s not a big licker, so when he does give you a kiss, it is extra special. Bixby would love to take classes with his new family as he loves to learn and is eager to please! He is great with teenaged kids, excellent in his crate, potty trained, learning leash manners, is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and his adoption fee is $250. Submit an application today!
