Violet is a happy-go-lucky lady that loves everyone she meets! She has a very genuine love of life and is eager to share it! She has been a ray of sunshine for us during these difficult days. She enjoys going for walks, pouncing on tennis balls, and trying to be a lap dog.
Violet is hard at work with our staff and volunteers to harness her energy for good! She has made a lot of progress and there is no doubt that her training would continue and even progress much quicker in a home where she would get much more time and attention. That aside, Violet is a loving, energetic, spunky girl that would make a great addition to any active and loving family!
She has lived with a cat and smaller dog before coming to MAS and has had no problems with kids so if you think she would make a good addition to your family, please fill out an application!

Meet Chickadee, an active 50lb, one year old Staffordshire Terrier/Cattle Dog mix (our best guess). If you’ve been looking for your best friend and constant companion, you’ve found her! She is a social butterfly; her love for all people is unmatched, and she will befriend anyone and everyone. Chickadee walks well on leash, and thrives with daily adventures; city exploring or woodland hikes both are great, and she can go for miles! She loves to get her exercise and then come home for a couch nap while you work, but is ready the second you are to adventure again! She definitely flourishes with routine and consistency. Because of rental breed discrimination, she does require a family who owns their own home and does not utilize an electric fence. She chews on any tie out or tether, so a physically fenced-in yard is needed. She is not the daintiest flower, and as such is looking for a home without young children as she tends to knock them down. Chickadee currently shares her home with a cat (and loves him) but would prefer to be the only dog in the home so she doesn’t have to share the attention! She is up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped and her adoption fee is $250. To adopt Chickadee apply at www.rescueofhope.com/adoption-application.
