GRIDCARD Week 52 Recap
Game 104: On and Off
The Nets’ big guns were misfiring. Kevin Durant shot 9-26 and Kyrie Irving went 7-22; however, KD finished with 33 points and Irving scored eight points down the stretch as the Brooklyn came back to beat the New Orleans 108-106. CJ McCullom had 28 for the Pelicans.
On the GridCard, KaitMac (42) earned the KOTM, her fourth of the year and second in the last two weeks. JD (40), put up a TallBoy but came up short. Ricco1947 (39) closed out the PGT with a win. Twelve other players posted Qualifying Scores: Rico (37), Bubba (37), Dano (36), kjh98 (36), KDet047 (35), LD (33), Nutmeg (33), K LC (32), Offroad (32), MMc (32), Jodyann (31), and Kevin K (31). KDet047 (78) took home King Kong.
Congratulations to Team Detwiler who defeated VBar 65-53 and swept their way to the inaugural Team GridCard Championship on the strength of their Top2 scorers KDet047 (35) and GB55 (30).

Game 103: Semi Automatic
The CFP semifinals were both crazy, high scoring, competitive games. TCU upset UM 51-45, two pick-6s and a couple of Wolverine failures at the goal line doing in Michigan. In the night cap, OSU led Georgia most of the way until the Dawgs got hot and scored 18 4th-quarter points to nip the Buckeyes 42-41 when OSU’s kicker Noah Ruggles missed from 50 yards out.
On the GridCard, KDet047 (43) put up a TallBoy t0 earn King of the Mountain–his sixth KOTM of the year. MMc (36) edged dangerzone (36) on the tiebreaker 8-6. Only five other players posted Qualifying Scores: Mr. Jake 50 (36), Barry (34), Dano (32), Teunesto (32), and Avocado (31).
Team Detwiler drew first blood in the Team GridCard finals, beating VBar 79-60 behind KDet047 (43) and Mr. Jake 50 (36).
