We received the following press release from the Lowell Police Department.
TRAFFIC ALERT
MONDAY, MAY 15, 2023
10am – 2pm
S. Hudson St and W. Main St, City of Lowell
A large piece of equipment will be moved through the City of Lowell from S Hudson St to Main St, then west on Main St, then west on M-21.
South Hudson St will be temporarily closed Monday morning at 10am. Traffic will not be able to get through from Ottawa St. to Main St.. Expect traffic delays on westbound Main St from Hudson to Alden Nash and westward from mid-morning to the afternoon.
Please plan a different route west or south other than Main St or S Hudson. Please detour to Bowes Rd, Foreman St. to go west, or S. Jackson to Grand River to go south.
There will be NO DETOUR signs in place, as this will be a slow moving piece of equipment that will need to be moved through town.
