My name is Christine Barnes, and I am announcing my run for State Representative in District 78.
I have lived in this District for nearly 10 years. I am a former County Commissioner. My husband, Tim and I, have trained over 8,000 students in the Conceal Carry Class in Michigan.
I have been endorsed and have the highest grade from the NRA, twice. I have also been endorsed by the Michigan Right To Life 3 times.
I am not a move-in “carpet bagger” like my opponents. This district has been my home for a decade and I am the only one that has held an elected office in this race.
