Furry Friday

The following animals are available for adoption.  If you find an animal you’d like to adopt please contact the organization directly.  Lowell’s First Look does not assist with the adoption process.  And if you’re looking to add to your family and don’t see an animal below, each organization has additional cats, dogs, or farm animals looking for new homes.   Pet profiles and photos are provided by each organization.

For additional information about each organization visit their websites or read our intro article to Furry Friday!

Carol’s Ferals

Carol’s Ferals specializes in trap, neuter, return (TNR), but they come across “friendlies” who are available for adoption. Here are their pets of the week.

Hi, I’m Brady!  I am a shy adorable boy who I loves affection.  If you have a window for me to look out, we will get along just fine.  Birds, bugs, and chipmunks are fun to watch!  Come on in and let’s discuss the view.

I’m Bug!  Want a girl who’s cute as a Bug but won’t buzz in your ear?  That’s me!  I don’t play with the other cats, but love to be petted by humans.  I have a little sass in me, and will let you know when I’ve had enough.  There’s a chance I may not do well with younger children.

In the urban dictionary, my name means the one you can always trust.  That’s me!  I am quiet and very friendly, and I will always be there for you.  Try out a calico (me, me, me), you won’t regret it!  Just ask for Jayleigh.

Vicky’s Pet Connection

Vicky’s Pet Connection works with the Kent County Animal Shelter to rescue cats and kittens.  They also take in dogs older in age and those needing special care. Here are their pets of the week.

Owen is not smiling–YET. He will be once he has a new home and family! Wouldn’t you smile if you knew you would be secure and loved? Of course you would! Owen is about 3 years old and would like some extra TLC for a short while as he just went through a difficult neuter. We’re positive anything you give Owen will be returned in spades!!!

The future looks “Sunny” for the lucky person who adopts this handsome fellow! Sunny is 3 years young. Orange tabbies are notorious for having the best personalities! Sunny is no exception–he’s happy and fun!
